Description:

A collection of 26 philosophical poems from Johnathan Abraham Antelept.

The Crystal in the Burning Garden is oneness. It is synthesis of the disparate. It is creation from the wellspring, through will and pure vision. It is rising from what was debilitating. It is seeing new horizons standing risen on mountains. On the contrary, but not in contradiction, it is the digging through deepest depths in search of the crystal: the prism of perspective. It is the balm for burning gardens, as the Earth is in need. The Crystal in the Burning Garden is about discovery, wisdom, revelation and consciousness. It is revolution, passion, love and camaraderie. It is lineage and birth, inheritance and legacy. It is the respect for Mother Earth and the compassion for all things. It is concerned with the Western spiritual crisis and the imbalance prevalent in modern society. Now is the most pivotal moment in human history. The Crystal in the Burning Garden is aware.

Sample Poem from Pages 8-9:

White Tiger Rising

They feel the verses verging,
Merging Montague and Capulet,
Catapulting shimmering chimera,
Minnows, tadpoles, swimming forth from it.

Centering placental platypus…
Redesigning fetuses
To form into Orion’s Belt:
Alnitak, Alnilam, Mintaka,
Mecca Magi making offering,
Myrrh more resinous than cannabis,

Tachyons and centaurs galloping,
White Tiger rising from secluded forestry,

Malachi and Enoch prophesying,
Telling of a king to come…

Watch it rise, inveterate,
Manuscripts from snow bound stone,
Obelisks unearthed and shown…

Solomonic wisdom touched,
Abyssinians discovering
Atlantean Diadems,
Crouched beneath the sapphire blue…

Once, it seemed impossible,
Now it is tautologically true.
Blue Sapphire don the King,
His tomb arisen,
His voice is clear.

Much obliged to serpents’ lust,
Taken many tumblings,
Wrestling with venom stings,
Envisioning could not be stopped.

Only strength accrued through avarice,
And cold hard clutching on his bust,
Blustering without much knowledge,
Unable to defy his pulse,
Only strength accrued from thus.

Much of this is understood,
But told disjointed inopportune,
Giving you arrangements glistening like necklaces,
Silver lining silences
Swinging ‘round my ventricle.

Make a move,
I’ll move with you,
Tell me what your promise is,
No need to speak with tongue, just stay.
I yearn for your immensity,
For cumming in the canopies
Of mangosteen and marigold,
Creating hybrid history.

Lost in rush epiphany,
Nothing will undue.
Neither can we negate of this.
I’ll love you after you leave.
Goodbye.
